Tao Track is in beta.
It is a web application for media buyers. It shows which TikTok ad led someone to open a Telegram bot, become a lead, and pay.
The beta is closed. There is no public signup on this site. Write to support@taotrack.com to ask for access. The product may change while it is in beta.
What it does
A buyer places Tao Track’s tracking link on a TikTok ad. The link creates our own click id and sends the visitor to one landing page. That page loads our pixel. When the visitor opens the bot, and when a lead or a payment is reported, those events stay tied to the same click.
The dashboard then shows the funnel, cost per result, revenue, and return on ad spend. Spend comes from a CSV the customer uploads. After TikTok approves this app and the advertiser connects an ad account, spend can be read from that account instead. We do not fill in numbers that were not imported or returned by the API.
How a result is counted
- The ad click hits a Tao Track link and receives a click id.
- The landing page loads the pixel and can record a page view.
- A link on that page opens the customer’s Telegram bot.
- The bot records the start. A lead, qualified lead, purchase, or deposit can be sent from the customer’s server.
- The dashboard attributes the event to the last eligible click. The default window is 7 days. The customer can set it from 1 hour to 90 days.
The redirect goes to one address. It does not change for a different device, network, or referrer. A public channel join is counted at campaign level, not as a named person.
How TikTok is used
Tao Track asks an advertiser only for the access this product needs.
- Reporting: read the campaigns, ad groups, ads, and daily spend of an ad account the advertiser chooses to connect.
-
Events: send conversion events the advertiser turns on, matched
with TikTok’s click id (
ttclid) and our event id. Purchase and deposit events include an amount and a currency.
The app does not ask to create or edit ads, manage audiences, read a TikTok profile, or post content. A conversion is sent only when the advertiser has connected an account and enabled that event. If TikTok is unavailable, the event stays in Tao Track and the delivery is marked failed.
Our pixel is separate from the TikTok pixel. It measures the customer’s landing page for this product. It stores and sends nothing until that page grants consent.
What it does not do
- It does not hide a page from ad review or change a redirect by device.
- It does not send bulk Telegram messages or run user accounts.
- It does not keep a directory of names or usernames.
- It does not buy, create, or optimize campaigns.
- It does not cover Google or Meta ads.
Data
Account holders sign in with email and password. For a measured
visit we keep the click id, ad parameters such as ttclid
and campaign ids, the landing address, and the events that follow.
From Telegram we keep the numeric user id only. We do not store IP
addresses, raw user agents, names, or usernames. Country is not
collected in this beta.
Retention, deletion, and the session cookie are described in the privacy policy. Use of the beta is described in the terms of service.
